Chand Syed is, without doubt, one of the talented DJ in the world. His skills both inside and out of the studio are impressive when it comes to the performance. Whether he’s demonstrating at Exit festival on his debut appearance or performing at sensation white, he get into the souls of crowed.Like every other DJ, Chand Syed have the taken the journey of dance music as well. No biography of the DJ artist could pass without mentioning 2006’s V8 Original Mix. The track came on N.o# 4 in five countries on dance music chart – Spain, Belgium, Russia, Bulgaria and the notoriously hard to crack UK chart – and scooped a raft of gongs including Best Underground House Track, Best Breaks/Electro Track, Best Breakthrough Solo Artist at the B@TV annual Club Awards in Miami.
Releasing through Ultra and Musical Freedom Recordings, Chand cemented his reputation as a well known force in house with tracks like Sarit Hadad Ze Sheshomer (Chand Syed & Offer Nissim), Ancient Disco, Korgis Need Your Loving and Swedish House Mafia One Rework. Remix requests came pouring in from the biggest stars in Asia: Atif Aslam, Rahat fate Ali and then Julia Thomson came knocking on Chand’s door asking for a house style reworking on tracks. In 2008, the world waited as news that Chand was taking time out to produce his first studio artist album began to filter through. Morning was a breath-taking debut album where he pulled in his loves of house, electro, trance and fashioned a piece of work that was both incredibly personal and dance floor dynamite.
